Competition & Antitrust Law
The Turkish Constitution authorizes the State to ensure that the markets operate under competition rules. The State performs its duty primarily through Competition Authority together with sector-specific regulatory bodies and the courts. Therefore Competition Law cannot be limited with the rules of Competition Act and the powers of Competition Authority.
The Akin Law Office values sector-specific rules and legal representation in the definition of Competition Law. Given our experience, our attorneys understand how to guide clients through the most complicated of circumstances, particularly in situations where the regulatory rules may conflict. We have an extensive program for our clients providing compliance training with the competition law and representing clients in front of the courts, compliance advise, and opposing regulatory fines levied by the Competition Authority.
